SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
The regular June School Board Meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, June
19, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hermosa Valley School multipurpose room.

SCHOOL NEWS ­ 2 ­ 5 TALENT SHOW
Due to the amount of talent show participants, there will be two shows this
year. 4th and 5th graders will perform on Thursday, 6/12 at 5pm in the MPR.
Tickets are $5.00 and will be on sale in front of room 3 Monday, 6/9-
Thursday, 6/12 from 8-8:15. (Please do not interrupt Mrs. Smith after her
class has started) you can buy tickets at the door as well. Please be
courteous of the wonderful ladies in the office, if you have questions,
please contact Mrs. Smith at ksmith at hbcsd.org

The 2nd and 3rd grade show will be on Friday, 6/13 at 1pm in the MPR.
Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no admission fee.

OTHER NEWS
The first Hermosa School Cookbook is arriving this week!  If you have
pre-ordered a book it should arrive in your child¹s cubby in a few days.  If
you want to buy one now ­ fill out an order form at either office with a
check for $20 (each office has a sample) or buy one on Friday ­ 6/6, Monday
6/9 and Tuesday 6/10 before school at View and after school at Valley.
 
And ­ congratulations to Shayla Ettley (2nd grade) for winning our cover art
contest!
